Guide to the
Bill 15/Infrastructure Projects Act Survey

Why this survey matters

BC is deciding whether “fast-tracked” infrastructure speeds a just transition or locks in more fossil fuels and habitat. Environmental voices can tip the balance. Ask the province to prioritize nature‑positive, climate‑ready benefits for people and ecosystems. Take the 15–20 minute survey now and share it with others so more climate‑minded voices are heard.

How to use this guide

Keep the survey and this guide open together (either side by side or by switching tabs) as each page of the guide matches a survey page. The guide tells you which options to select when a choice is needed to unlock the survey’s written feedback box. Use the blue cards to start your comments: click “Add to draft” to drop text into the Draft box, then edit it in your own words; personalized responses carry more weight. If you still have space in your character limit, add another short snippet. If a card would push you over the limit the button turns red; trim your draft to re‑enable it. When you’re happy with your draft, click Copy and paste the text into the matching field in the survey. This guide is here to help, not to prescribe. Focus on the issues you find most important and rewrite anything you like.

Page 1 – Background

The Province defines the categories below. To be designated as Provincially Significant, a project must fit one or more of these types. The definitions here are provided for reference by the Province. You’ll see these options again when you’re asked to choose your top five. We don’t recommend any option.
